HSE Manager(Safety/Power Plant)

Salary: 80 – 120 K

  Location: Ploenchit, Bangkok

• Develop and manage HSE program which is compliant with local and international regulations, guidelines and wind industry best practices
• Document, track and report statistics HSE metrics and KPI's
• Develop and maintain HSE and wind turbine operations manuals
• Conduct HSE training of site staff and maintain HSE record keeping
• Conduct HSE and regulatory audits and relevant reporting
• Conduct contractor HSE audits to verify compliance with employer and regulatory standards, and to ensure worker have appropriate training/certification for tasks performed
• Implement HSE policies and enforce compliance
• Perform HSE risk analysis and management on construction project sites
• Develop and maintain Job Hazards Analysis (JHA) for site activities during construction and operations
• Develop and maintain system for reporting, investigating, analyzing, and documenting all near misses, HSE incidents, and regulatory compliance incidents. Develop and implement related corrective actions
• Lead corporate and site safety meetings and manage other safety communications as needed
• Develop an illness and injury prevention plan
• Develop and lead safety training/testing at site for basic safety, electrical, mechanical, hazardous material and fall protection
• Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for construction and operations sites
• Develop Emergency Response plans for all construction and operations sites
• Maintain and track safety files, training files, certifications, and licenses
• Develop and maintain an incident/accident database 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field
• Formal training in Safety and/or Risk Management
• A minimum of 8 years experience in a related field
• Licensed/certified to act as Safety Officer
• Strong knowledge of Thai Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Good leadership skills, ability to plan and to problem solve in the field
• Good command of written and spoken English. Ability to read and write English technical documentation
• Ability to use MS Office programs
• Ability to proactively plan, establish priorities and allocate resources expressed by developing increasingly complex plans
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to travel and work at the development and/or construction site for extended periods (Near Korat)
