GL/AP Accountant (Many positions!)
Salary: 15 – 25K
Location: BTS Ploenchit, Bangkok
Job Description:-
- Perform general accounting and financial reporting functions of Holding and Project companies (WEH, AP, FKW and KR2)
- Handle all day-to-day general ledger transactions
- Responsible for reclassification and adjusting journal entries
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and supporting details
- Prepare monthly, and year-end closing, financial statements reports and ensure they are timely submitted
- Handle payment vouchers and checks vouchers as well as preparing of documentation for distribution
- Ensures that payments are accurate and made according to terms and conditions of contracts / agreements/ invoices
- Ensure correct handling of VAT and withholding taxes for domestic as well as overseas payments
- Record and control Petty Cash and Cash Advances
- Closely monitor bank transactions and reconcile with statements
- Liaison with external parties i.e. auditors, Government agency, customers, and suppliers
- Filling of documents and resolving of queries (if any)
Qualification:-
- Male or Female
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in AP and/or GL accounting field
- Preferably experience from accounting of large scale projects (EPC) and/or project financing
- Knowledge in Express software is advantage
- Proficiency in computer Microsoft Office especially in Microsoft Excel
- Solid knowledge with respect to applicable taxes related to domestic as well as overseas vendor payments
- Able to communicate in both written and spoken English
- Positive thinking, pro-active, result oriented, detailed and accurate, able to work in a dynamic environment, like to work with others also in challenging situations, etc
- Knowledge / experience from energy sector will be an advantage, but it is not a must
